Free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!

Tribute to the Disappeared is an art project in honor of people who have disappeared in Mexico (from the students from Ayotzinapa to the Women of Juarez) and other victims of violence and injustice around the world.

Just as the AIDS Memorial Quilt brought attention to the AIDS epidemic, Tribute to the Disappeared aims to bring public attention to another epidemic-that of innocent lives lost to the drug war, poverty and injustice.

Join us for a session of art making and community sharing, as we create artworks that will become part of this international art project (over 250 artists from around the world are participating.)

Everyone is welcome to attend, no art experience needed.

A variety of art supplies will be provided, but feel free to also bring your own favorite materials and photos (If you knit, embroider or crochet, please bring your favorite supplies).

We look forward to a wonderful session of creativity, community and solidarity!
