Community Art Workshops

Registration is required. Please arrive 10 minutes early. The workshops will take place at  Mano a Mano: Mexican Culture Without Borders (550 W 155th St, New York, NY 10032)

Paper Flower Workshop

Friday, March 27, 2020 at 11 am
In this workshop participants will learn a brief history of paper and create paper flowers using two simple techniques.

Mini Piñatas Workshop

Thursday, April 16 and Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 11 am
(Attending both days is required)
In this two-part workshop participants will learn about the origin and how to create different types of piñatas.

Traditional Tenango Embroidery Workshop

Thursday, May 14 and Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11 am
(Attending both days is required)
In this two-part workshop participants will learn about the origin, history, and technic to embroider a traditional design of the Tenango de Doria.
