Join us for a fun day that celebrates our children. El Día del Niño, a “Children’s Day” will feature stories and art-making for the entire family and a display traditional Mexican toys. The day will conclude with the breaking of a piñata and a raffle.
About el Día del Niño | Children’s Day
Children’s Day is an annual celebration that honors children. One of the first celebrations took place in Tantoyuca, Veracruz, Mexico in 1916. The United Nations established the Universal Children’s Day in 1954 to promote awareness of the rights, care, and education of children worldwide. Different countries celebrate the holiday on various dates.
